Business Awards

We had a record number of nominations for the Business of the Year Awards – here are the winners!

The New Business of the Year Award is L-C Valley Health & Wellness, LLC! Their nominator states, “They have brought mental health and addiction recovery services to individuals down here which has helped save lives. They have spent a lot of time connecting with the community including attending the Health & Wellness Fair and supporting the Northwest Children's Home's fundraising events. Their staff is very compassionate and always puts their clients first. We are so lucky to have them bring additional mental health services to the valley!”

For the Most Innovative Business of the Year, the award goes to Bumper Crop Coffee…“They could just sell coffee, but have expanded and been inventive enough to host a lot of other events.” Great ideas, guys!

The Best Place to Work is Idaho Central Credit Union! One employee states, “ICCU truly invests in their employees and wants them to succeed as much as possible. They provide all the tools needed to grow and progress. Single-handedly changing lives with their dedication, commitment and flexibility. I love working here.”

The award goes to TriState Health for the Community Spirit Award! Their nominator said, “TriState Health collaborates with many organizations throughout the community to support education, health initiatives, and more. They partnered with the Clarkston School District to create programs that offer our students growth and career advancement opportunities such as: a Student Scrubs Camp where students heard from healthcare professionals and had hands-on learning opportunities; implementing a CNA program tailored for high school students in partnership with Walla Walla Community collage; offering a radiology internship to expose students to the behind-the-scenes processes of patient scheduling, registration, and customer service; and launching an Athletic Training Program to service Clarkston High School's student-athlete population. The new program ensures students are safe and have access to prevention, triage, and treatment of sports-related injuries. These programs are just the start of TriState's commitment to workforce development and the safety of our students.”

And because one business was nominated in all but one category, Royal Plaza of Olympus is our Runner-Up! One of their nominators states, “This company has been involved in the local community each month hosting fun, family friendly events and supporting local businesses. I love the community that they have created with the residents that live there. Everyone is united in caring for each other and being a part of something greater than themselves. They always try to invite people from the LC Valley to all of their special monthly events. And, This company cares deeply about their employees! They go above and beyond to help their people whenever it’s needed.”
